I was an English major at the State University of New York at Oswego. My minor was French. I completed graduate studies in history of the Middle Ages and French culture and civilization at La Sorbonne, L'universite D'Haute Brettagne and Institute de Tourainel Much of my studies include French literature and culture. So I can teach anything from the influence of Roman and Gothic architecture on the French civilization to grammar and literature lesson.
Experience
I was a tutor at various times throughout my career. In China, I tutored students in reading and writing skills so that they could prepare for the SAT or IELTS. In Kuwait I tutored university students in writing and study skills and helped them to rewrite their essays in a way that was suitable for submitting to their department.

Hobbies
I love to travel and regularly visit relatives in France, Majorc, and Italy, where we have a family villa. When I travel I try to visit historical sites and places off the beaten path, since I am a history buff. For example, while visiting friends in Tuscany, I went to a area where there were ancient Roman baths from 2,000 years ago. It was a spot tucked away in the countryside that no one knew about. It was extraordinary and a unique experience that not many get to partake in.
